IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals veteran spin bowler Amit Mishra has made a big statement. Mishra said he is the highest wicket-taker in the world's biggest league, now what to do more.

All the teams have started their preparations ahead of IPL 2021 (IPL 2021). Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals veteran spin bowler Amit Mishra has made a big statement. Mishra last played an international match for India in 2017. 

Turned Mishra's anger 

Amit Mishra, who has been out of the Indian squad for the past four years, said he is the highest wicket-taker in the world's biggest league, now what to do more than that. "I am second in the list of highest wicket-takers in IPL. What will be more performance than human beings? My performance in the big leagues has been top level. My job is to perform and that's what I've been doing for the past several years. It doesn't matter what people are thinking about me," he said.

Leg-Spinner needs good captain 

Mishra (Amit Mishra) said that any leg-spinner needs a good captain. When runs are being scored against the bowler, he needs a captain who can boost his confidence. "I mean a captain who can understand the mindset of the leg-spinner," he said. There is currently no good leg-spinner in Indian cricket except For Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav and Rahul Chahar.

May last IPL 

This could be his last IPL for Amit Mishra. Mishra is now 38 years old and is considered to be a very big age for any player and in today's cricket teams give more opportunities to young players. Mishra has taken 160 wickets in 150 IPL matches. He is second in the list of highest wicket-takers in IPL. Above him is only Lasith Malinga who has taken 170 wickets.
